Lawrence Max Compton, 86, passed away October 10, 2013 at Blythe Nursing Care Center. Lawrence, better known to almost everyone as 'Pete', was born June 21, 1927 in Blythe to Jess and Essie Compton. Military Graveside services will be held for Pete on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Palo Verde Cemetery in Blythe with the VFW Post #2987 presiding.
