Poppa Pete was my other dad.I will miss him greatly. My thoughts and love go to Mom Sudie and family. I will miss his stories of the old music days and all of the people he has played with and has known over great many years. He had become a very good friend of our band, as well. We all will miss his smile and friendship. I love you and will miss you Poppa. Now you'll be able to play your fiddle for the angels.

The world has lost a great man. He kept us safe as children from fish hooks and poison ivy. Brought music into our world with his fiddle and his robust laughter. An angel in heaven to watch over us forever.
