Not sure what to say?

Pete once threw me a curveball in batting practice at Coral Gate Park, and that was the moment I learned that I would never amount to anything in baseball. He was a few steps ahead of all of us on the playing field, and he was also a great, fun-loving guy. I took my first trip out of the country -- to the Bahamas -- with Pete and his Mom in junior high. Years later, I wrote about him for Miami Magazine. I lost touch with him after I moved to LA, but this news hit me hard. Glad to read here...

I am still in shock at this loss. Have lost too many school mates too young. I loved Pete so much. If his Mom is still alive please tell her Cindy Beck sends my sympathy to her.

Gone far too soon. The American Heritage boys all loved his spirit and support. He will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Can't believe that you are gone. Got a call from my ex letting me know. You will truly be missed. Pete call me. We love you.
