Not sure what to say?

Dear Uncle Pete,

I always liked your house. You and Tillie picked a nice place to raise your family. The trip itself was always an adventure. Especially to an impatient kid like me. I thought, “Gee, are we still in America?” “When will we get there?”
You were always so cool about guns. Everybody would say I shouldn’t use one. But you would always let me take a rifle way out to the dump and shoot vermin. Of course, you’d also get in my face and say, “Don’t shoot at birds! Only what’s...

Dear Dad,
You will be missed so much, I can't name the many ways and memories that keep flowing back to me. You were our family chief, always taking time & care to make family gatherings so special. Cooking for our wedding reception was no easy task but you & Mom pulled if off with grace & ease. Thank you for your help, patience, & understanding through the years & all those early morning visits over coffee. You were famous for being early for anything or showing up unexpectedly but...

Dear Family,

Very sorry to hear of Peter's passing away. I have always retained many good memories of visiting the 'farm' when I visited Battle Creek with your Teta Elena. Your family was always so close-knit and welcoming. Peter was always down-to-earth and good-hearted.

May the Lord receive him into His heavenly Kingdom.

Your cousin,

My thoughts are prayers are with the family. As friends of my family, (George and Marion Briggs) we played together as kids. Thanks for the memories.

you are now with tillie and the lordj

Grandpa Pete was a cool guy! I had so much fun with him. I remember when I would spend the night and in the morning he would have doughnuts and eggs all ready for us! But I know he is in Heaven Having the time of his life!

Brianna Markos will miss Great Grandpa Markos very much!

So Sorry to hear of Pete's passing - the 'old gang' is slowly slipping away... We will miss him
