Not sure what to say?

I shared an office with Pete in Woodside, and we worked a couple of cases together. He was The only honest politician i've ever met. He was a war hero. And a truly decent man. I condolences to his family.

A fledgling politician from the peninsula who won his Congress seat over Shirley Temple. I delivered the SF Chronicle and always read the headlines, even as a 12 year old. Soon after he entered politics, I was a Scout in Troop 269 and on a planned "Historic Trails Award" hike We were to traverse up the believed trail Gaspar de Portola traveled when he discovered the San Francisco Bay. Sincere condolences to the Mcloskey family, May God help you all in your time of loss.

I admired this wonderful man- a war hero & a true patriot I met him twice-when I worked on his presidential campaign & when i was setted on a jury where he was a lawyer for one of the parties-I told the judge I could not be impartial, I had to vote with Pete--I was excused while Pete smiled at me-later shook my hand.

RIP Mr.Pete
