Not sure what to say?

To Pete's family- I just heard the sad news last week and wished I could have said goodbye. I'll miss seeing him and that white truck around town. You are in my prayers.- Wendell

In behalf of our family, I would like to thank each of you for such wonderful kind words, prayers and stories over the last few months.
He treasured each of his friends. The only thing my dad ever collected in his life where his friends. And that was a passion for him.
I always new dad was a special person in so many ways, he was so different. As our dad we never saw a lot of things each of you did. He was so misunderstood by his children as we were growing up. He was tough on...

I was an old high school friend of Pete's and want to express my deepest sorrow to his wife Mary and family. He will be missed by all.

I went to school with Pete (Fremont High Class of '53) After graduation with a stint in the service I worked for Westinghouse (Sunnyvale) for 37 yrs. At times (during the '70s) Pete and I would run into each other while doing our banking at Bank of America (Mathilda Ave) We would talk of old times and enjoy our old friendship from our high school years. I always thought of Pete as a nice and sincere guy. We were good friends even though we didn't run in the same circles in the latter...

To the Picollo Family,
Although I did not know Pete for that many years, I was introduced to him through members of my wife's family, the Ottavianos and the Bertuccios. Pete always had a smile, would give you the shirt off his back, and was truely a prince of a man. The world has lost another one of the good guys. My deepest condolences.

To the Picollo family on behalf of my family,of the late Luis D Gonzalez (436 N Bayview Ave) Our deepest sympathies. Pete would always greet us as we went by and as I recall when asked about his time in the service he would show us his scar on his knee. Battle wound, he would say. Ha ha
I can still vision him then as well as his mother. Mary, who was a great whistler. As I would walk by their house I would see my dad and his dad walk to the back of the house to the tasting room. Later...

I am deeply sadened of Petes death Please send condolences to the family.

I will always remember Pete the way I saw him and Mary at their 50th wedding anniversary. Jeff (my husband) and I, are Chuck and Gina's family which makes all of the Picollo's our family too. God be with you. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." (Matthew 5:4) "The Lord shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended." (Isaiah 60:20). Sincerely, Pat Money and Jeffrey Alkire

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Picollo's passing. I never had the honor of meeting him, but I am blessed to work with his daughter, Gina, who is an amazing woman. If Mr. Picollo left no other legacy, he should be remembered for being a wonderful father and raising a beautiful, kind, and loving daughter. We miss you, Gina. Take good care of yourself. Know we love you and our prayers are with you and your family. Hugs, Carrie Brown and the rest of your MF family.
