My condolences to the family and friends of Pete. I met Pete at Eastgate JHS and we became friends. I moved away while in HS but we stayed friends and he was best man at my wedding in Dallas. I guess we drifted apart, but I always considered him a great friend. I tried to re-establish contact from time to time over the years but was never successful. I am greatly saddened by his passing but I will always remember him and the good times we had together. Rest in Peace my friend.

Had not seen Pete for quite some time, very sorry to hear he passed. I will never forget the profound words he said to me when my mother passed away. I had just got back in town and stopped for a beer. Pete came and sat with me and I told him about my mother. Very sympathetic and concerned he looked at me and said it may not be next week, month or year but the day will come when you think of your mother you will get a big smile on your face. He was right. I could not have run into a better...
