Jess, this unspeakable news about Pete is a gut-punch that I cannot still recover from. I am so very shocked and saddened for you all more than I could ever adequately describe. There are no appropriate words I can use to tell you how very devastated I am for you and your four Incredible children... Lucky to have had him as a father and husband is obviously the biggest understatement ever... What a Gift of a soul he was...that Genuine, constant wonderful smile, his loving and kind demeanor...

I began my four years at DePauw the year Pete was born. I became deeply involved in affairs at the school and in that context got to know Pete through many Zoom, phone calls and emails. "A man of deep humility and grace" is an understatement. He was one of the kindest, thoughtful, and gracious men I ever met. What a tragedy that his wonderful family has lost his love and guidance at such an absurdly young age. His sudden death is the worst thing I´ve heard in years,

He was a true friend loved golf family and hanging out he be missed by all

We will be praying that the His peace and comfort will be with all of you. . We have such wonderful memories of spending some time together years ago as couples.
