I recall fondly a conversation Pat and I had one morning when I commented on the early start for the day. Pat's response to me was: "Well Larry, I married a milkman!". I only knew Pete from 2009 thru' 2021, and I am several steps below him in terms of stature and community service, but he always treated me as an equal and showed me the greatest respect. That's just the man he was!

Mr. Schenkel was one of the most influential men in my life. Both Pete and Jerry taught me what integrity, honesty, and how to always be humble as well as how important it was to apologize. When I met them 20 years ago, I worked in Customer Service. They taught me how to be a woman of my word whose "Word Was My Bond" and it wasn't all about the Money.
