Not sure what to say?

Pearl, Frank and families:
Graham and I are thinking of you all in these sad,sad hours, shortly after learning of your deep loss. I write on Monday, August 02, 2010. How can mere words convey what we feel? I knew Peter when he was a very small boy and on a couple of occasions in his later life. Reading the glowing tributes to Peter from so many friends, colleagues, and admirers, I could not help but remark how closely the heartfelt comments of so many echoed what I personally know to be...

Family and Friends of Pete,

We will miss Pete so much! Our family has been going to the Beach House for more than 15 years and we have always looked forward to seeing Pete every year. My mother-in-law, Sandra, felt so close to him that she called him 'son' while planning our visits each year. My children loved seeing Pete at the desk and around the pool each year. Dear family members: It is never easy to lose a loved one. In your time of grief, we pray that God's forever promises will bring you comfort.

Pete, you will be missed terribly. You are the most dedicated dad to Jessica. One of the best I've ever seen. All us Weaver girls went to Famous Dave's last night in your memory. Rest in Peace, Pete.

Pete's "little piece of heaven" in Michigan!!

Pete, I will always think of you and Cia whenever I eat at or see a Famous Dave's. You will be missed!!

Apparently, my comments did not post when I first posted this picture!!

I am lighting a candle so Pete can find his way!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

To Pete's Family,
We have known Pete since he first came to the Beach House. We always looked forward to his smile, humor, and unique personality. He actually became "one of the family." What a deep sadness to learn of his passing. We will truly miss him! Although we cannot be with you, please known that you are in our thoughts and prays. God be with you at this difficult time.
