Peter J. Alling

My condolences to the family. I remember Peter from High School days. He had a sharp wit (family trait) and was more than willing to share it. Peter once scored the winning basket in a particularly competitive 3 on 3 basketball game ... I was quite pleased about this because we were on the same team. :) RIP Peter.

We met in Spring 1980 while attending graduate school at URI. Aside from introducing me to the world of D&D (DM Stephen Wood) I recall bar hopping. catching movies, grabbing some meals, and checking out coeds. Our favorite topics of discussion involved military history/technology and politics. As life progressed we managed to stay in touch and do what friends do, I helped him find employment and Pete was there to support me when I lost my beloved wife, Anna, to cancer.
