Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear about Pete's passing. I hope the wonderful memories you have of him will comfort you at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Deepest sympathies and condolences to Pete's family. I've been a sports writer for 38 years and ran a Met League team for 16 and knew Pete well in both capacities. He was a fine official and a better guy.
He'll be missed. Paul Schwartz

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Pete. We have not seen him in many years but still hold on to the memory of his fabulous smile and humor. His classmates Dennis and Donna (Perrapato) Lowe

Our condolences to Michele and Pete's family. We knew Pete through Michele's next door neighbor Peggy. He was always ready to greet you with a smile and a story. A genuine guy with a caring heart who was very proud of his kids & grandkids. I know he really enjoyed the time he got to spend with them in Florida. He will be sorely missed by all who were touched by him. R.I.P.
Alan Macek & Athena Zois

I WAS VERY SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT PETE'S PASSING. I WON'T BE ABLE TO BE THERE IN PERSON, BUT MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS WILL BE WITH YOU. GERI AND CHICO SPOTO (ASTORINO) CLASS OF 1960

Sorry to hear about Pete's passing. My prayers to the family. Both Pete and I attended #7 school and GHS. I was 1 year ahead of Pete. I will always remeber Pete playing left field for the Garfield Alumni softball team when the Garfield Sportsmen played against them. We could never beat them and Pete was instrumental in their victorious seasons back in the late 60's and the early 70's. We will miss him. Bob Pepe

To the Amoruso family, my deepest sympathy. Pete was a good friend to all. He was my paper boy for many years. We graduated in 1960 but whenever we ran into each other it was like yesterday. He will be greatly missed by all that new him. Farewell "Goose". Your GHS classmate,
Rosalie (SanFilippo) Cimino.

I have not seen Pete for many years , but I will always remember him for his ready smile and great sense of humor.
Vinnie Carabin

I knew Pete as high school friends and into our early adult years. He was a fun guy to be around. I send my condolances to his family and friends.
