Peter Anastor

Judge Anastor performed my wedding ceremony for me in my backyard in 1999. It was not something he normally did, but I appreciated him making it a special day. He was such a kind man, and I will always remember him fondly.

I worked with Peter at 68th District Court for years and then as Regional Administrator for the Michigan Supreme Court/ State Court Administrative Office. His diligence, ethics, and dedication as judge brought excellence to the bench and inspired those with whom he worked. May he rest in peace. My condolences to his family.

Alice and Family. I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Peter. He was a really good lawyer, Judge and man. I enjoyed seeing him throughout our many years of practice. I will keep Peter and the Family in my prayers. May God Bless Peter, Alice and the Family.

I had the pleasure of working with him at 68th District Court. Judge Anastor always made himself available. He had a wonderful sense of humor but was a fair and strict jurist. He stood up for me when I needed it most. May God comfort his family and be with them through this time.

Deepest condolences to Alice and your whole family. I had the pleasure of working with Pete before he was judge when he was in practice with Attorneys Charlie Forrest and Ron Sirna. He was always kind to me and everyone. I remember him officiating at the renewal of wedding vows for Charles and Barbara White on their 50th anniversary. Barbara is 104 and still speaks highly of Judge Anastor. A wonderful man, attorney and judge.
