My wife and I were so saddened to read of Peter's passing. He was one of a kind and such a joy to be with. When I first started my employment with Washtenaw County Government, Peter was there for me. When I retired some 36 + years later, Peter was there. Throughout those years (and beyond), Peter was always there for me as he was for so many others. Peter was a true gentleman, kind and considerate and always gracious and generous. Peter knew me my whole life. Our families were very close and we spent many memorable times together. He always kept us laughing and was such fun to be around.
