Great memories of a fun memorable msn!!!!

The first time I met Peter it must have been 1978 or so and I was sailing with Sandy Curtis on his first Rocking Horse - the Ranger 33´. We were short of crew for a course race that day and Peter and his daughter Mary agreed sail with us. What makes this memorable is not that Peter´s sage advice on tactics and sail trim earned us a trophy - I can´t even remember which regatta it was much less how we placed. Peter was a friend and advisor for decades to our family. His knowledge, intelligence, kindness, patience and generosity was alway greatly appreciated. We were fortunate to be able to enjoy many special personal moments with Peter, and always looked forward to hearing stories of his latest and past travel and life adventures. Betsy- we share your feeling of loss of the kind, fun, and wonderful human being that Peter was. I so enjoyed hunting with Peter at Swan Lake- we often chose to hunt with each other because we enjoyed each other´s company. The yearly stuffed animals reminded us of his many charitable interests. I have so many Peter stories... they will keep him near to me. You have our support in this difficult time. If you need anything let us know.
