Peter J. Bellew

Quite a legacy Dad left! He was the last surviving charter member of the Gaelic American Club, Fairfield. Hundreds, thousands knew him. Accomplished as an accordion player, knew so many practical things, an education being around him.

Saddened to learn of the death of Peter rip - he used to visit myself and my colleagues Susan and Annmarie in Crossmagken Library, Co Armagh when he was home in Kiltybane on holiday - we loved to see him coming and listening to his many stories. Peter was a very nice man. I lived next door to the Bellew´s. I have a lot of great memories from those days. As a child I remember Mr B going out to entertain all the time. He would have an accordion and a little amplifier. I just happened to followed in his footsteps and was fortunate enough to be associated with the Fairfield Elderberries. Mr B joined the Elderberries about 20 years ago and he would play his accordion for residents at many Nursing Hones and Assisted Living facilities. I...
