Not sure what to say?

happy birthday to one of the very best it was an honor to call you FRIEND rest with the angels

I served on the Rockport Zoning Board of Appeals with Pete for nearly four years. In that time I came to think of him as a friend, and always looked forward to his sunny and optimistic demeanor and open and generous spirit. I´m truly grateful to have gotten to know him.

One of the Greats ! Will miss him

we will forever cherish the memories we have of peter the wonderful loving caring human being he was and we are honored to have called him FRIEND REST IN PEACE and give Joyce a kiss for us

Peter was a year ahead of us in school, but he joined our class functions a Joyce's husband. When Joyce passed Peter continued joining with our class (Class of 1958). We accepted Peter as an honorary class member right through to our 70th class reunion. We'll miss Peter's friendship. Pete Hardy and the RMHS Class of 1958.

Steve & Jeff...so sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved father. Deepest condolences to you and your family!

Steven, Amy, Jeff & Family, Our hearts are heavy as we share in your loss. Somehow I never expected this day to come, perhaps because Peter was so full of vigor for life. Always up. Always smiling. Always there to lend a hand, or a hug. Peter was so much more than a neighbor. He truly was my hero. His dedication to, and tender care of, Joyce was a true inspiration to the heart and sole. Watching him made me aspire to be better...to be like him. I will hold him close as I walk on through...

Steve, Jeff and Amy, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I have so many fond memories of Peter. It starts with hockey from youth hockey to WHS and then to Norwich. Our families go back a long time. I will miss Peter and just know he was an incredible person. R.I.P.

Our Deepest condolences to the Bergholtz family on the passing of your father and grandfather. I first met Peter 30+ years ago. He always had kind words and that huge smile exuding warmth towards others. Such wonderful traits! Wherever a Beautiful soul has been,Beautiful memories follow. May all those memories give the family strength during this difficult time. RIP Peter Rapa Family
