I am very sorry this comes so many years after Peter´s death; his story is one for our time. I was part of his graduate school story at Berkeley, including Hans Rosenberg´s seminar in German Historiography. Our generation had some choices to make about history, activism and political commitment in the mid-1960´s. Peter was a loyal friend through that time. We at Jordan Glen are so sorry to hear of Peter's passing.
I remember that he had a quiet sense of self and good sense of humor-Of course, having Ben as your son, would mean you would have needed one.
