I am saddened to learn of the loss of Dr. Bittel. I only had the pleasure of working under his leadership for 2 years and in that time I learned about Peter's relentless commitment to students with special needs, his devotion to his family (especially Luke), his passion for sailing, and his quest to find positive and fair outcomes for everyone he touched. Dear Erin & Family-
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Peter's passing. We spoke a couple of months ago and every time we spoke it was like speaking to a long time friend.
