I´m sorry about you loss. I used to play basketball with Pete when we were teenagers. He was always bigger than life. He was always really nice!!! I just wanted to say I´m sorry for your loss, and let Pete know that I was thinking of him.

We had known Peter for many years since his youth, reconnecting with him when he became the physical education teacher at the Union School. Our children were blessed to have him as an instructor and friend. "Gentle Giant" epitomizes Peter Blume Jr. He had a wonderful way with the youngsters and they loved him! Wendy, Thoughts with you and your family during this time. I was extremely fortunate to first meet Pete freshman year at Eastern. I have a lot of great memories of Pete from those years. He was a gentle giant and all those who met him certainly will remember him, I know I always will. Mike Smith
