Uncle Pete was a favorite uncle of mine. Unfortunately time seems to pass us by, as we tend to get absorb in other things in life before we realize those we really love are taken from us.
I can never watch the Bonanza Western Show without it reminding me of Uncle Pete. Not sure what the connection is, but if I had to guess I would say it would be his rugged steadfastness, yet gentle fair-minded manner and enough class to brighten any dull moment, and then there is the obvious of Loren...

I have known the family for many, many years. I have so many fond memories of Pete; especially when we I was younger and spent summer's with my Grandma & Grandpa Fritts.
I loved it when we would visit their cabin; and they had inside plumbing.
