Not sure what to say?

I met Peter Brawley when he lived for a while in a communal household of hippies in the later half of the 1960's. I was a gay teenager and lived in a building next door. He always fascinated me with his wit , poetry, and wisdom. And of course his fabulous stories. All true.
I always believed him, you couldn't make that stuff up.
He seemed to be driving a whole scene of people who thought of him as a guide of some sort. When I moved to New York (in 1976)and became actively engaged in...

Dear Peter, now how will we be able to have one of our good old chats when I'm in Montreal!? You have always held a very special place in my life and I'll miss you greatly. Love to you and your family.

I
met Peter a few times only with my good friend Sur Rodney (Sur). I did
attend his exhibition on Roy St. east of St-Laurent several years back.
It was an event to remember. Peter was an artist who deserved
recognition. Condolences to the family

I'll miss the straightforward yet funny conversations about this messy world that sounded so much saner when coming from Peter's point of view - Isn't it a mess to the max, Mona! How I'll miss my lovely and good friend, Peter.

Peter, you were a cousin I never really knew. You came in and out of my life so very few times while we were growing up. Sometimes in a large family staying in touch is often difficult until news about a family member arrives. Over the weekend Mom and Dad shared their thoughts and memories of your life with fond remembrance.

Pete...RamRam.
All I know is that you introduced me to our NKB Guru and now I live
waaay over here in India. It means I'll miss mourning & wakin' with
all our ol' Montreal crowd. Anyway, I was just in Vrindavan and
remembered ye there. Will never consider ye gone. Will always remember
our times with Art & Baba. All love to you. Maila (& Rashid) xxxxxx

So sad to know you're gone, Pete. Visiting Montreal won't be the same, knowing that you're not there anymore. My sympathies to all who are missing you.

Peter, I miss you and will always love you. Thanks for all the wonderful childhood memories and for the unconditional love you always gave to me. Thanks, too, for being there for my Mum. I'll never forget your kindness, caring, loyalty and, of course, your amazing sense of humour. Enjoy every moment of this journey.

All my love,

Your cousin, Linda

Oh My God Peter,
Never thought you'd leave without a word. But then, like the man says, "Never say Goodbye"
Love you forever,
