OMG! I just heard about this! I was talking to Ken Conlin in Montreal this evening, reminiscing about our school days when Peter's name came up. I did a quick search to see if I could find where he was now, and found he had died.

Ken and I both went to school with Pete back in LaSalle. Neither of us really kept in touch with him after we finished school, so this came as a surprise indeed. He was an imposing figure of a man, but very kind. We called him the gentle giant.

We are...

How much I wanted to see you again Peter

Hello, I am dumbfounded to find a site that is dealing with the memory of one of the first persons I came to like and respect shortly after I landed in Canada. I was a driver on the Mount Royal production and thus Peter was my immediate boss. I feared him first, (the size of a Mike Tyson, multiplied by two) then as I came to know him more I truly felt more and more respect toward him. Despite his fearsome size, he was a gentle, genuinely kind, "coke-gobbling" man. I am truly honored to have...

It was not until the last few weeks that I learned, from a former in-law, of the death of Mr. Peter Bray. (I cannot call him "Peter".)

We met but a few times several years ago, probably when he bought a home in the U.S.

At first, I was "star-struck" and attempted to elicit his comments about the glamour of, and his involvement in, "show business".

Sadly I only just found out about Peter, ironically one day short of a year from when he passed on. Peter and I both worked for Alliance Communications in the 1990's, which often caused considerable confusion as we share the same name. My condolences to Peter's family as you remember him a year later.

I had the great fortune to work with Peter very early in my career. He was a great man and very good at his job. We saw Vancouver, Paris and Aukland together and no matter what was going down, he was always a pro. to those he left behind, my sincere sympathies.

Dad. I miss you so much. I keep wishing and thinking it will get easier, but it really does not. Sammy is gone now. I think she kept waiting and waiting for you to come home for so long, she finally gave up. She was in really bad shape and of course getting old for a dog. None the less it was another small blow, especially for Allan, to loose you and then your/Allan's dog a few months later. She was our next best friend. We are starting to try to arange a ceromony for you here at...
