Not sure what to say?

When I think of Dr. Bunting, I always think of his compassion for his patients and his love of his wife and girls. Dr. Bunting was like family to me. He always made me feel at ease because I knew that he would take good care of me and that I had the best doctor. I lost count of how many tumors, moles, and precancerous growths he removed over the years...things were always easier to face with him as my doctor. You couldn’t ask for a better doctor with an amazing bedside manner to boot. ...

I (M) remember Pete and playing football in a friends front yard on Northside Drive, Jackson,Mississippi.

Gosh, when this reminder popped up in my email today, it hit me that Dr. Bunting is truly gone. Dr. Bunting was truly a gift from God. He was everything a doctor should be...kind, considerate, caring, knowledgeable, and his reputation as an amazing surgeon was matched by his stellar bedside manner. He loved his wife and daughters, he spoke about them often and his eyes would just dance when he would share stories of them. The world lost an amazing man when he passed and Im so thankful our...

As a former patient of Dr. Bunting, my heart is broken to hear of his passing. Dr. Bunting was a blessing to so many of us lucky enough to know him. He always spoke lovingly of his wife and daughters. He has a very special place in my heart and he will always be remembered for his kindness and love of family and patients. May God comfort you all during this time of sorrow. Angela Baldwin-Bates

His children, grandchildren and the wonderful stories they share about him, are a testament to the kind of person he was and truly honor him.

Dear Derry, Lisa, GinnyLu, Allen, Mary Douglas, and Families, what a lovely remembrance of your very special father! I have so many fond memories of your visits here, and to the beach, and of seeing all of you at Allen's wedding. I still smile every time I see the picture that still hangs in Daddy's house of our visit to Birmingham for Easter many years ago. Your dad and my father were so alike in so many ways: driven, competitive, and accomplished, and yet kind and caring and tremendous...
