Peter G. Cahill

Peter G. Cahill, age 52, of Media, PA passed away on February 1, 2018.  Born in Charleston, SC, Peter was a longtime resident of Media, PA, where he attended Nativity BVM and Cardinal O'Hara High School.  He worked as an assistant manager at Wawa and in inventory with BMW Motor Works.  He volunteered with St. John's Hospice.  

Peter enjoyed cars, music, and surfing.  He was an excellent cook and had a special talent for creating great sauces for his meals.  He was loved by many.  

His faith in Christ was strong.  Peter was kind and was always available to anyone in need.  A loving son, brother and friend, Peter will continue to be remembered and cherished.  

Peter was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Cahill (2017). 

He is survived by his father, Joseph Cahill of Media; his sister, Kathleen Cahill of Media; his brother, Patrick Cahill (Kerry) of Philadelphia; and his niece Alexa Cahill.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Nativity BVM (30 E. Franklin St., Media, PA) on Saturday, Feb. 10th.  Friends may call from 10-11 am.  Mass will begin at 11. Burial will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Hospice, 1221 Race St., Philadelphia, PA 19107.
