Not sure what to say?

We were not aware of Peter's passing until today when I read
the IMA donation from Marnia. I am overwhelmed. Peter saved my eyesight (four other specialists were wrong) in 1970. I came back from New York for his treatments. He was so brilliant. We missed his practice when he retired.
Our family so so admired him. Susie. we know your loss is
great and so it is for all of us. We have been blessed with
amy surviving two cancer battles. Our hearts are with you
and I wish we...

I was not aware of Dr. Cahn' s death until now. He was our family's ophthamologist for over fifteen years. My mom and dad adored him, and I am sure they are in heaven laughing, talking and catching up! Susan was a help to me, too. I am so sorry for all of the Cahn family! Susan, I will call you. God bless you!

What an honor and pleasure to have worked with Dr. Cahn in an Indianapolis ophthalmology office. Not only was he an excellent practitioner, he was an avid leader in his community and gave back to the the veterans at the Roudebush Medical Center. I will always remember his smile and how proud he was of his family's accomplishments in life.
God bless his soul and family.

Cousin Peter was such a special person, treasured by everyone in our family. He will be deeply missed, but his light will shine forever.

A great man who of all things got my eyes pointed in the right direction 45 years ago.

I worked for Dr. Cahn for about a year in '75-'76 as an office and scrub nurse. He was a very intelligent man and wonderful with his patients. His contribution to the community has been considerable. He will be missed by many. My condolences to the family. I learned a lot from him; and although I went into another field of nursing, I valued the knowledge I gained.

Everyone here in the logansport Memorial Hopsital Specialty Care Clinic would like to give you our deepest sympathy for your loss. Our thoughts and prayer are with you.

Dear Susan, Seth & Victoria, Jordan & Liz, Andrew and Grandchildren,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. Peter was a wonderful and intelligent man and a most honored friend and doctor. He always was special to my two sons and never failed to inquire about them across the miles.
Our world will be less bright without him.

I believe it was 1966, though I may be off a bit. I was a scared 5 or 6 year old boy about to undergo the first of 3 surgical procedures on my eyes. My relationship with Dr. Cahn lasted well into my 20s. Every visit to his office was a fun walk down memory lane. Now, every memory of Dr. Cahn makes me smile. I was very lucky to have encountered such a wonderful man and am very sorry to see you've lost him Thank you for sharing him with the rest of us.
