Not sure what to say?

Barbara-

Though I knew this was coming, your news that we had lost Peter still took my breath away.

It amazes me to realize that I knew Peter for almost 30 years. When I met him, he was sitting behind his desk in a small office at Traynor Porsche-Audi. On the wall behind him was a picture of him in his “other office”; behind the wheel of a Porsche working his way through course traffic on his way to another road racing victory. I knew we’d have things to talk about....

Dear Barb,
I was so sad to hear the news. It was such an honor to know him. Miss you.
Love, Kari (nurse @ Dr.Hollister's)

Barb,
Peter ran the race and gave it his all, with you as his co-pilot. May he rest in peace, may you find comfort in your memories of him.

Barbara,
Joe and I were both shocked to hear this sad news. Peter was a wonderful guy, sailor, dog lover, friend, and husband. I know he loved you very much, and you made a great team. I have great memories of the sailing years, especially when you and I were his "crew" in Newport. He had a zest for life and was so hard working and hard playing. I know you will miss him terribly. We will miss him also and whish we had had more time with him on this earth. Please remember he will be...

Peter and I had so many great memories, so many good times, and so many laughs and smiles that there just isn't enough time, or space, to chronicle them all.

Anyone that knew Peter well also knew that he was very private when he was overcoming the challenges all of us face in the gift of life, so many of us were not aware of the one battle he was losing. I wish I had known so that I could have come to see him one last time.

Aloooooooha! Peter,

Your friend of many...

Peter was a friend, ship-mate and mentor. He will be missed tremendously and remembered often.

Barbara,

Sorry to hear about Peter. The battle of his terrible illness is over with, may he rest in peace.
May your fond memories of Peter comfort you in the months ahead.

Barbara, I have never met your husband but he sounds like he was a wonderful man. God has him now. My deepest sympathy.

Donna Ginter (Carries sister)

Peter,
Sweet Sailing!
