Not sure what to say?

My brother and I grew up getting haircuts from Pete. A friendly man who let one lucky kid sweep the floor of hair! It was a sad day when I learned the shop had closed - The Cranstonian and Pete - a great memory.

Pete gave me my first haircut about 70+ years ago.I always visited him in the shop after we moved from R.I.He was one of Cranston'finest. He always wanted to discuss the Gansett brewery where I was Master Brewer.

Uncle Pete, Gloria and I are really saddened by your passing and will miss you. There is no person on Earth that spent that many years as you did working with youth and family, especially in sporting activities! The world is a better place to live because of your devotion. Thank you for all the time we spent together, it was always a pleasure. God bless, Gloria & Fred

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Peter. We will miss him. He lived a full life of love for his family, serving his country and endeavors in the sports field. We will always remember the wonderful stories he told. While visiting R.I. in the past couple years, we visited Uncle Peter in the Scandenavian Home and enjoyed being with him. He still entertained us with his "coin trick" and "soft shoe" dance. our memories of these times will always be with us. Our sincere sympathy...

Peter, you were a gentleman, and a scholar.Well loved by everyone. You were a great Football referee, and Baseball umpire, plus, and expert golfer, and barber. We visited you three weeks ago,and we are going to miss you. We love you Pete. You were really a true friend, Al & Doris Seguin
