My all time favorate teacher,and a great friend,i was with pete from the old drury trade school and into the new McCANN trade school in 1963 agreat teacher and mentor R.I.P. pete you are missed but not forgotten.

Mr. Cardillo made McCann what it was. When I look back I have good memories. I never had to sit on 'the bench',but I did visit his office, a few times I was late for class. Even when I gave a reason,he would give me a 500 word essay on why I shouldn't be late.I was given that assignment a few times and couldn't have any fresh reasons to write the essay. Sorry for your loss. Mr Cardillo was My principal at McCann my freshman year. He was tough, but he was fair. Today's schools need more principals like him.
