SOUTH HADLEY – Peter John Carriveau, Sr., 43, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 with his family by his side after a courageous fight with pulmonary and kidney disease. He was born in Springfield on April 14, 1973, the son of Laurie (Lamoureux) Ricardi of Holyoke and Daniel Carriveau of Jessup, MD. He was raised and educated in the Chicopee and Holyoke area and had previously worked as a pizza chef and delivery driver for Dominos Pizza. Besides his parents, Peter leaves behind his children, Cianalyn Ricardi of Southampton, Tavialea Ricardi of Arden, NC, Jordan Carriveau of Springfield and Peter J. Carriveau, Jr. of Mountain Home, AR and his only grandson, Bintlee Ricardi. He is also survived by his siblings, Timothy Carriveau (Missy) of Chicopee, Tamara Bedford (Lance) of Springfield and Lynnette Willemain of San Francisco and his girlfriend, Lisa Chartier of South Hadley, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee with a Prayer Service being offered at 7 p.m. Contributions in memory of Peter may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Rockville, MD, 20852-9813. Its was such a long road for you. Alot of ups and downs along the way and boy was it one hell of a ride .. I believe in my heart that you tried with all you had , you just seemed to keep getting lost somehow :(. I will hold the good memories we shared close to my heart and let the bad ones go.
