We will miss him! I pray that he and Pam are back together and enjoying the nearness of God. No pain. Just love and beauty.

Pete shared his love for Colombian Paso Finos with me. He came to visit my horses several times just to pet them and tell me about how his brother raised Paso Finos. Every time we were together he would have some great riding or horse story. The last time I saw Pete he was in LMH. The first thing he said when I held his hand and he opened his eyes was, "How are your Paso Finos"

We were very sorry to hear of Pete´s passing. He was a good soul and a kind friend. We loved his sense of humor. Our sincere condolences to his family.

Professor Casagrande engaged my attention and challenged my intellect in ways that made my second year of college a turning point in my life. Classical argument essay writing sharpened and clarified my thinking. Reading Thomas Hardy novels broadened my understanding of the world. Professor Casagrande also suggested I would be good at teaching, and a few years later that is indeed the path I followed. Pete was a probing scholar, a fine teacher, an active colleague, and, finally, a longtime friend.

I am so sorry to see this. He was a great friend to my parents and had a good life. I am so sorry for his family and his other friends.
