PETER F. CASELLA

Peter was a good friend of my father-in-law Lee Menteer. The many times I went with my wife Eileen to Buffalo and visited with Lee, we almost always went with Lee to have a breakfast or a lunch with Peter. Eileen appreciated Peter and I also quickly got to where I looked forward to seeing him. After Lee passed on, several years ago, we still visited Buffalo regularly to see friends, and that included making sure to have breakfast with Peter.

Peter was great friend to my Dad, Lee Menteer. They met at the Niagara Club and remained friends after retirement. Tho they were very different people, Peter and Dad got along and had breakfast together every week for many years, as long as they could. They had The War in common and interest in business and politics. Dad often talked about his friend, Peter, and what a great fella he was.

PFC as we referred to him had a tremendous intellect and was just great to work for and work with during the period 1961 to 1967. He mentored me in all aspects of patent law allowing me to obtain a law degree and eventually become the assistant general patent counsel for Xerox Corporation where I was a patent attorney for 44 years.
