To Pete's family,
We miss him everyday. I assure you no one in our class will ever forget the nicest funniest kid I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I wore his necklace all over Europe as a way of still making him a part of our trip. Your family is never far from any of our minds and know that if you ever need anything the whole class of 08 is a phone call away.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I was so sorry to hear about you tragic loss! I can't possibly understand what you must be going through, but I do know from our many conversations over the last twenty years, that you are so very proud of all your wonderful children! I had graduated from WMC and had heard about the accident. My heart was torn apart.
