Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of meeting & working with Dr Peter Chopivsky, as a young nurse new to Los Angeles. I was far away from my home in Scotland & feeling very home sick.
The kindness he offered in his practice was above & beyond. His intuitive understanding of physical illness & its link to sadness & loneliness was remarkable.
I was in my early 20’s when first I met him & now in my 60’s I can still recall his name & fondly remember what kind of human being he was.

When I arrived at Princeton as a freshman in the fall of 1971, I was hoping to contribute to the University's student tutoring organization led by, you guessed it, a very likable, well-organized, and energetic upperclassman named Pete Chopivsky. I joined a group of about five or so undergrads whom he would take in a van about once a month to drive half an hour to the Jamesburg Reformatory for boys where the college guys would spend about an hour tutoring the boys who were more or less...

Peter comes up in our thoughts and memories so often. We miss his approach to health care. I hope Ann you and the kids are doing well. The Jones family

Pat Casey and my late wife Judy loved Dr. Chopivsky and miss him dearly

Another candle to light up your memory, and keep it shining.

Today I came across our medical records from when we lived in Leesburg so many years ago. I was working in ICU at what was then Loudoun Hospital Center, when I meet Dr. Chopivsky. My 1st impression was how caring and gentle he was. I made the decision at that time for him to be our family Dr. With a baby in 1991 and a 1st time mom he always listened to all my concerns, with advice given. One thing I will always remember is that when I was high risk with my 2nd baby he made house calls to my...

RIP Pete from one Zee Bee to another Zee Bee.

Dear Pete, you memory is still alive and shining.

I just found out about Dr. Chovisky's passing. I want to let his family know that I was searching for him just to say hi and let him know how much we admired him for his approach to doctoring. He delivered my son 25 years ago at UCLA and we always remember the care and kindness of his bedside manner. We also enjoyed his lectures. He was the true country doctor. My sincere condolences to Ann and the children. Alexis Upton-Knittle (LA, CA)
