Peter Paul "Pete" Choukalas

Our heartfelt condolences to Chris and the entire Choukalas family. Pete was a kind and thoughtful man, with a warm welcoming smile. We enjoyed the times we would pass by to catch him sitting on the front porch eager to share one of his baseball stories. They were the best. His love of family was most evident. Our prayers go out to all of you. He will be missed.

I'll always remember the stories my dad would tell me about how great my Uncle Pete was at baseball. How he was the only one on the team who could hit a curveball and hit it with power and the great arm he had. And about his 4-year stint in the minors and some of the great players of that day Pete got to play against, like Roger Maris for one. Stories that I would share throughout the years with others.
