Not sure what to say?

I never met him but I met his son's when I worked at the Mr Burger and they were so sweet and I can only imagine how sweet he was from how they acted

A fine man, always respected him. Knew him 30 years. He was always open for a good chat.

My parents, now deceased, loved going to Mr. Burger on 44th SE. They knew everyone by name. My brother and his wife were in Florida and saw a man wearing a Mr. Burger hat. It was Peter. They relayed my parents´ wonderful experiences at Mr. Burger and took of picture with Peter and his wife. What a wonderful legacy!

My deepest condolences to Maria and the Family! Pete was a wonderful person and will always be remembered!

I had the pleasure to meet Peter and Maria! Had many visits with them and Son Jimmy. Prayers for the family. RIP Peter! Elaine Losey

I was nine when Pete and Maria opened Mr. Burger on Lake Michigan Drive in 1967. Mom and I were regulars during her lifetime, and I´ve continued the tradition as a frequent customer ever since. It always has been and always will be my favorite home town restaurant. Pete would stop by our table to say hi and made us feel important and at home. He was a good man who touched many lives, and his place brought Mom and I closer. I will always remember Pete. Deepest condolences to Maria and all of...

I remember my aunt and uncle being their very first customer. After they weren´t able to drive they brought them soup and lunches. Mr. Burger is one of our favorite restaurants and they always treat you like family. Our kids went to Union high school with Jimmy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Pete is an irreplaceable soul. I am sorry and I love you. You were family to me

I had the privilege of working for Pete for almost 16 years at the 44th and Kalamazoo store. Loved my job and customers. After I retired, I would stop in to see everyone, occasionally I would see Pete and give him a hug. He was always happy to see me. He will always be remembered and missed.
