Not sure what to say?

To peters's family,
I just found out about peter's tragic death. I am so sorry to read about your loss. I hoped for a happy story when I googled his name. He was such a nice person with a great sense of humor. He will always have a special place in my heart. My toughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Val;
You have been our nurse for two years and brought us throughgh a lot of very hard times. That's why when I heard about your husbands tragic accident, I was floored. It was like a part of mine and Cierra and Allen's heart was torn out. You know if there is ever anything we can do for you please let us know. We love you as a person and a nurse for myself and Cierra. I didn't know Peter personally but have heard a lot of great things about him. If it wasn't for Peter I would have...

Val, Genny and Nicholas and family:
The sad news of Pete's tragic accident made its way to the little town of Poolesville last nite. I am so so sorry for your loss. As you know he enjoyed his days of working as Bar Manager at Bassett's for many years and those he knew and who loved him will be devastated to hear of his passing. He was a great friend, a wonderful father and husband. He was always eager to help others and could always make you laugh. He passed helping others so God must...

Val,

I was so saddened when I realized that Peter was your husband. I haven't seen you for a while, since I haven't been at the Health Dept. for a few months. His was such a tragic death, but a wonderful life.

Please know you and your children are in my thoughts.

Val, Gennie and Nick,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of grief, confusion, heartache and loss. Peter was a legacy. His genuine love for humanity is unsurpassed. We will miss him very much. He made our community a better and safer place to live. He was truly dedicated to helping others and I am thankful for all that he did for us. I pray that people will now surround your family to pour love upon you as he did so often for us. I am a phone call away. In the...

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Pete. I went to St.Mary's with Pete and will always remember the great times we had, his corny jokes and his love of animals. He will surely be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Aunt Bebe and Uncle Chuck, also the entire family.
I cannot imagine losing a son/brother/husband/father. Peter will be missed by all.

Beverley Humbert and Family

I had the privilege of sharing a house with Peter in Maryland in 89 - it was the best summer of my life with the most genuine gentleman I have ever been fortunate to meet and continue to call my friend. Peter was everything we all aspire to be as a person. With Val, they were perfect together even back then. My thoughts are with everyone who knew Peter - you just know he is making heaven a better place right now.

To the Coe family:

I so sorry to hear about your loss. Peter lived three houses down from me while we were growing up (Arrowood Rd -- Bethesda, MD). We shared a paper route together (my first business partner). I'll always remember Peter as a truly kind, generous, and genuine person (with a great sense of humor).

Please accept my condolences. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
