Not sure what to say?

I can't believe it has been almost a year since Peter's passing. What a good person he was -- and he absolutely adored his three children. His eyes would light up every time he spoke of them. I know that the peace Peter was unable to find here on earth has been found with Our Lord in heaven.

peter was my childhood friend i couldnt believe he had passed on we grew up together i knew him very well the last time i saw him he was smiling happy and upbeat about life as always running in the race of life and winning all the friends who loved him i miss him and know he is at peace up there in heaven

My heart goes out to Peter's family. I knew him well when he was a student at Roanoke College. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To Pete's family. May the good Lord be with you during these times of despair. Pete was a good man, snd I was proud to call call him a brother.

To us, Peter came fully-equipped with permanent laugh lines on his face. He never missed an opportunity to have fun, and, if an opportunity did not present itself, he would create one out of thin air.

He will be sorely missed by the Brotherhood of Pi Lambda Phi, but his spirit of true companionship and his distinctive, hearty laugh will remain with us for all time.

Our deepest sympathies are extended to the entire Conolly family, and to all who knew him well.

I am truly saddened to hear about Peters passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the Connolly family in this time of grief.

A true Irish gentlemen - the Friendly Son's have lost a great man.

This news is heartbreaking. We knew Peter as a little boy playing touch football, and as a warm and charming young man. His enthusiasm for all he did was inspiring. Everyone loved him for his Irish twinkle, his delightful wit and his strong sense of family. It is comforting to know he is now with his Father in a loving and peaceful reunion. With our deepest sympathy to his incredibly wonderful Mother and family.

Peter was a true gentleman and great guy. I will always have great memories of his quick wit. My thoughts go out to his family, his children and his Roanoke fraternity brothers who loved him. May he rest in peace.

Peter was a memorable person. His sense of humor, fun, and caring, are unforgetable. He was a big part of the Wesley Heights' hijinks!
