Peter Connolly

I realize this is quite late, but I just discovered Peter's obituary. Peter was one of my two favorite bosses in my career. He truly cared for the people that worked for him, a truly 'human' boss. I remember once when my wife was in labor with my second child nearby Tarrytown, NY and I was working that afternoon, I was trying to finish up somethings, and Peter told me to just go - that it was more important to be with my wife. He was a great life mentor as well as a great boss in my early R&D...

I don't know if you will see this but I'm truly sorry for your and our loss. Peter was a really sweet guy. Meeting him was a high point of Bates.

It was always a pleasure to run into Peter in the hallways of IDEXX and, a few years ago, at Planet Fitness. His smile was joyful, compassionate and frequent.
