Not sure what to say?

Dear Ann,
So very sorry for your loss. As nurses, we got to witness firsthand the abilities and outstanding work of Dr Corey. I wish to second the sentiments of Dr Katlic and others - our valley was so fortunate to have known such a fine surgeon. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I first met Pete in the summer of 1982 when I was looking at job opportunities. At his house that Saturday afternoon Ann made us sausage and pepper sandwiches and during the conversation Pete asked, "Why does someone like you want to come to Wilkes-Barre?" It is because of people like Pete. The Valley will not see a surgeon like him again. Rest in peace, my friend.

I was sadden to learn that Doctor Peter Corey died, what a great surgeon, he taught me so much about medicine and about life in general. His legacy is people like me still walking around because of his skill at what he loved best, treating people who were sick or injured...may he rest in peace

Condolences to the family from a classmate
