Peter Hilton CROZIER

Obituary

"Pete the Plumber'

1936-2012

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pete on June 22 after a brief illness. Pete was born in Port Alberni on January 13, 1936, and was the first grandchild of pioneer doctor, C.T. Hilton. He worked at Alpulp for many years prior to moving to Qualicum where he set up his own plumbing business. He was a member of the Qualicum Beach Fire Department, serving in many capacities over a 31 year period.

Pete was predeceased by his parents, Betty and Pete Crozier, aunts, Freda and Jean Hilton and uncle, Dick Hilton. He will be sadly missed by his extended family, Laurie and Ty Jordan, and is also survived by 4 children, 13 grandchildren, 1 sister, Liz Geiger, an aunt, and 2 nephews. Grateful appreciation to Deanna and Kerry Owen, Jenny Yacoboski and Pete's many friends at Deez Bar and Grill, and the Coffee Boys from Gary's Bistro for their love and support over the years. Thanks also to Brian, Jim and his truck, the Town Crew, QB Firemen and many great friends for their help at Pete's, and to the Nanaimo Palliative Care staff.

Please, no funeral or flowers by request, but if desired, donations may be made to the Cancer Society. Arrangements for cremation made by Qualicum Beach Funeral Centre.

There will be a 'Farewell' drop-in party for Pete's friends at Deez Bar and Grill, Saturday, June 30, 1:00-3:30 p.m.
