Devastated to read about Peter's death. Knew Peter from the day he arrived at BU until the day he graduated. My daughter recently discovered a beautiful thank you note from his mother, Doris. Dated March 14th,1979. She expressed how grateful she was that Pete was having an opportunity to go to college. It was a letter of a mother's love for her son, his struggles in an outdated educational system, and her joy at him just being given a chance. I use to tell Peter that he would...

I knew Pete since grade school. He was always funny and sweet. We met for lunch with our mates a few years back and got reacquainted; he was the same warm, smiling guy I remembered from childhood. RIP, dear one.

Pete, September 14th will forever be close to my heart even more now.

Saddened to hear that the world has lost a great guy. Always smiling, and looking like he was up to no good, he made those around him feel good. "Uncle Pete" will be missed by many.
