Not sure what to say?

Pete & I hung out a lot during our year in Rome. I'll always remember him as someone who really embraced life & always added some humor to whatever he said or wrote. More recently we were in touch about some job interviews I was preparing for. His advice: "Be Yourself!"

That pretty much sums up Pete. Many times I think we obsess about fitting in or making the right impression. All Pete had to do was be Pete, a very unique character who will be sorely missed!

Peter was one of the kindest, most joyful souls I have been privileged to have met (in this life). I still carry a note from him in my bible from when I was an RCIA candidate in 2008 where he writes: "My prayers are with you this weekend. Enjoy the wonder that is God....Draw near to God, and will draw near to you. --James 4:8" So many of us enjoyed the wonder that is/was Peter Davidson. He was genuine, kind and always lifted you up! Linda,as you know your husband and I met when we were just little boys.I will always remember growing up down the street and all the experiences that we went through on the road to manhood. His parents would have been extremely proud of him. I'm gonna miss him. You will be in my prayers and please take very good care of yourself. Those two young mean of yours will remind you if you don't.

Linda, My condolences to you and your family. I wish there were magical words that would make this time easier for you, but hopefully the many wonderful memories you have, and knowing that you have friends who are here for you if you need them, is of some comfort to you. With deepest sympathy.

Saddened to hear of Pete's passing. As a classmate of Pete at Notre Dame, I will always remember his quick smile, warmth, and kindness. My prayers go out to his friends and family.

Dear Linda, Peter and Ian,
Our deepest condolences to you and the entire Davidson family. Peter will be missed but is surely among the angels in Heaven. You will see him again.
The Atwater Family

Linda, I'm so sorry to hear about Peter. He was a lovely human being. My heartfelt prayers to you and your family. May he rest with the saints in heaven.

I am so very sorry at Peter's death. He was a good man, a loving husband, and devoted father. May God receive Peter into eternal peace and may his family be comforted. Your husband and father touched many people in his life. All who knew Peter will tell of his kindness. He will be missed by many.
