Thank you all so very, very much for your kind thoughts, prayers and fond memories of Pete. It helps a great deal to know how well-liked and loved he was by so many people.

I wish I could be there to celebrate Pete's life this weekend and meet the people that shaped his life. I met Pete more than 20 years ago, and got to know him over listening to Curtis Mayfield records, watching Yankees-Boston games at Charlie's (or better yet at Yankee stadium), sitting in front of bonfires, or on the golf course.
