Peter Dixon Davis

RIP Just found this the other day in the files of Bentley Morriss.

My wife and I knew Dixon Davis and his late wife June when they lived in Washington DC and attended Saint John´s Episcopal church in Georgetown. Dixon was always remarkable in his good cheer and his willingness to reach out and help others. During my tenure on the vestry, our heating system failed in the middle of the winter, and Dixon and June were the first to reach out and help us fund a replacement. I had the privilege to help take care of Peter in his home in his last month of life. I was getting to know him and all about his wonderful family and his life accomplishments. I wish it was longer! Barbara Clark

I met Peter performing at a recreation of One Man's Family in the 1990s. He was a very personable, approachable man with an obvious appreciation for his fans and respect for what he achieved as an actor in classic radio. RIP and best wishes to his family. He is missed.
