May the Davis family know no more sorrow. Our deepest heartfelt condolences. May Shimon's neshama have an aliyah- we are having Kaddish said on his behalf. And when Peter reaches his final destination, may he help us all.

Joan and I send the Davis family our deepest sympathy. Although I only recently found out that Peter was ill, I did not realize how gravely ill he was. I was unaware that Peter had passed away and was deeply saddened when Ron called and told me on Monday. Again, you have our heart felt condolences.

As I recall the sweet voice of Peter Davis, I can hear his gentle soul right now. Just listen!
I had the fortunate opportunity to first meet Peter just a few years ago. I remember his vibrancy and gusto for life. Peter has a special spirit about him, one that you could not quite exactly put to words but you really knew this about Peter, directly inside yourself.
When Peter and I spoke regularly, I got a real sense about him, that Peter was on a clear journey to help other people. Please take a few moments now to feel inside yourself the resonance of some of the words that portray the essence of Peter Davis: Courageous, Loving, Quirky, Honesty, Integrity, Verbose, Caring, Healing, Expressive, Joyful, Passionate, Understanding, Enlightening, Considerate, Bold, Brave, Spiritual, and most of all, Being Himself.
The one thing to remember about Peter, is that his spirit and memories will live on forever. As sighted in the text of the Kaddish,
May His great name be blessed (y'he sh'meh rabba m'varakh)
forever and to all eternity. (l' alam ul al'me al'maya)
I understand that it is important to Peter that people say Kaddish for him. I honor your request Peter and am saying Kaddish in your presence now and will continue so on your yartzeits.
Peter expressed enjoyment of his friends, family and desired a full life. His spirit and memories will vibrantly live on.
Thank you Peter for your gifts. You have a very special spirit that will truly be honored for all time, all space and into eternity.
