Not sure what to say?

We were very saddened this morning to see the email about Peter DePuy passing away. I knew he was a wonderful vet and he had a terrific family for Jeanne DePuy and I were best friends and I spent a lot of time at their house and always had a wonderful time. God bless you all at this sad and difficult time. Sorry we weren't able to be there for the funeral, but you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Doc meant peace. To be a horse owner, this is huge. His calm demeanor, and gentle doctoring embraced me through decades of equine ownership.

In a way, I've been mourning the loss of Doc for years already. Knowing there was not a finer man to call upon for the care of my horses. And sometimes, that was all it took. "A call". Doc would say, "Oh, I know what that is, haven't seen it in the area for twenty years, but I know what that is".

Though for the less serious, Doc would...

My deepest sympathy to Thelma and Petes extended family. Pete was a special and dedicated vet. He always went the extra mile for the horses and their owners. Pete took the time to comfort grieving owners. I want to thank Thelma for her understanding and patience that helped Pete to be the dedicated vet he was. We all know he took time from his family and we appreciated it

miss ya doc.. enjoy all tha fishing now.... thankz for the love u shown my animals

We have been Docs neighbors for twentysix years and you could not ask for a better one.
On several occasions we would look out the front window and see one of his equine patients getting led across our front lawn because they missed his driveway, lol.
Doc also love to grill out no matter what the weather! His stories made us laugh, our dogs just loved him.
We will truely miss him. Our sincere condolences go out the Depuy family. God Speed Doc.
