Not sure what to say?

Only today I learned of Peter's passing. Although we had worked together in the past while I was at PetroCanada an he at Shell, we met up surprisingly again in 2007 in the waiting room at the Tom Baker. We didn't quite recognize each other at first (neither of us had much hair!).

At that time I had the pleasure of meeting his daughter(Melissa from Ottawa?)who reflected many of the facets of Peter's character that we all admired so much.

Although we had exchanged...

Melissa, our thoughts are with you, your kids, and your whole family. We were saddened to hear about your dad passing away. It's been a long time since we caught up, but we know the pain of losing a father and grandfather and wanted to express our deepest sympathy. Take care.

Dear Heather: I was so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. Please know that friends , tho' distant, are close in thought. My deepest sympathy. Lorna

Save some room, Peter, for your old teammates...until we meet again.
Our love to Heather and family.

Heather and family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Peter when Patrick sent me the message. I was a childhood friend from Mount Royal. He was always upbeat and friendly and it was so good to see him at our reunion in Montreal in 2005. My condolences to all the family.

Dear Heather, Mark, Melissa and Family:

There are some people who have such a sense of vibrancy, energy and 'life' that we cannot imagine they will not endure forever; Peter was one of those people. In so many ways, Peter set an example others would do well to follow, in business, in friendships, in life.

It has been quite a while since I worked for Peter at Shell and I have thought of him often over the years and with fondness. Just this past weekend I was reminiscing...

Dear Heather,
I was so saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Peter. Please acceptd my deepest sympathy. Thinking of you often at this very difficult time for you and your family.
