Peter you taught me much about business and living a full life. Our days at Dierickx were more special than I knew at the time. The jobs and careers the company created were first class. You led the company in a way that allowed all of us to grow and prosper as professionals in a rugged market.

What originally was going to be a short term job turned into a full time career for me thanks to you and Bill. I will always be thankful for that.

This Thirsday I will miss your...

My heart and thoughts go out to Pete's family. Pete and I graduated together in 1960 from Queen Anne HS and both of us pledged the fraternity Dex. I have very fond memories of those times. We had great times together while pledging. Over the years we would get together for social functions. The last one was our 50th class reunion. While learning to play handball I met Pete at the Washington Athletic Club for a game and he killed me. Later on when I was a much improved player I would try to...

So sad to hear of Petes passing. He was a wonderful neighbor on Mercer Island. When I told him we were to build next door he grabbed and hugged me! Such a positive person always and we shared many anecdotes together. Marilyn, we both wish you our deepest sympathies and offer whatever help you may need in the future as your next door neighbors.

Pete what a great year we had at Western together, our freshman year, 1960-61. There are a lot of special memories. Farewell my friend.

Pete first real boyfriend when entering Junior High School, Catherine B. You'll be missed by all who knew you, you were such
a get it done person. See you when I can.

Peter and I met in the 60's while serving our basic training in the Army National Guard at Fort Bliss in El Paso. As squad leaders we shared a two person room avoiding the bunkroom. After two months of basic training we both left to Fort Huachuca, Arizona to complete our advanced individual training. There Peter introduced me to the game of handball, most likely because there were no other handball players available.
After the service Peter asked me to design a home on Hood Canal for he...

Pete
You were the first neighbor to come and introduce yourself when we moved in on 36th West in 1949. You were a friendly personable guy right from the start.

Can't believe your gone Buddy.

My condolences to your family,

Chris Steiner

To the Dierickx family, my heart goes out to all of you. Mo and kids, thanks for sharing Peter, your homes, with me and Peters extensive group of friends. Love to all of you. Jay

Peter D was much more than a friend to me! We shared 18 years of real life together. We shared Doctors, we shared treatments, we made and shared decisions together, we shared challenges, we shared disappointment but most of all we shared HOPE! Seldom without a joke, most not repeatable but VERY funny. Peter was an encourager when I needed encouragement. Peter was a listener when I needed to talk. Life has been better with my friend. I will most certainly miss him. I know he is now a single...
