Peter was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania on September 10, 1956, the son of Robert and Bertha Diesel.

On July 11, 1981 he married Deana L. Curll in Clarion, PA.

Peter was a devoted husband, adoring father and grandfather. Some of his greatest joys were spending time with his family and babysitting his grandchildren. Peter had a contagious smile and his personality filled any room. He was strong in his faith which pulled him and his family through the most difficult times. Pete enjoyed playing golf, cooking with his wife, and tended to bite off more than he could chew with home improvement projects. He treasured family road trips to national parks and walking his dog. Peter was an active member of Holy Redeemer Parish, the Knights of Columbus (Council 10170), the State Bar of Michigan, the Genesee County Bar Association, and the Grand Blanc Community.

He was an attorney and partner at Garan Lucow Miller P.C. and lived his life in service of others. Peter was called home too soon and he will be missed dearly.

Not sure what to say?

Just this evening, I learned of the deaths of my cousin Bertha Diesel and her son Peter. I was the priest privileged to witness and bless the marriage of Deana and Pete. May choirs of angels welcome him into Paradise and may his family find gentle comfort in the love they shared. I share your grief, with love.

gone too soon so sorry for your loss

To the Diesel Family.....
I am so so sad to hear of Pete's passing. He and I grew up together in Muse. How I remember days on my porch playing Euchre and all the fun times we had at all the Muse carnivals every year. I will always remember you as the kindest person, with a big heart and great smile. See you on the other side some day my friend.
